As of 1 December 2016, new owners Stephen Ross and Peter Sudermann have acquired and are operating Great Northern Snowcat Skiing, taking over from founder and owner operator Brent McCorquodale. Great Northern Snowcat Skiing is the second oldest snowcat outfitter in British Columbia, Canada. Brent found our location by looking at a snowcat record in the University of Calgary archives dating back to the 1800s. He chose a spot in the Bad Shot Range of the Selkirk Mountains for a reason: it snows a ton every year.
For the 2023 season, we’re offering a number of exclusive use packages – that’s private use of the snowcat, lodge, and our guiding team for the entirety of your visit. Gather your close friends, or extended family members and let loose with a ski trip that’s all yours. Call us today and explore how we can custombuild your perfect trip.
