The terrain on Mt.Bailey is as vast and varied as you will find anywhere. With 6000 acres and 360 degrees of skiable terrain, options are limitless. Storm days offer steep, deep “North Wall” tree skiing. Blue bird days dish out 3,000 foot alpine faces and high alpine bowls straight off the summit. Most days provide a little bit of both. Mt.Bailey is a serious mountain with serious terrain. All trips are fully guided and all guests are provided with standard avalanche equipment. This is an experience for advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders. While the mountain offers some fantastic mellow cruising, we cater to skiers and riders looking for steep powder turns! Leave the intermediates at home please! Guests with good fitness and tested equipment will maximize both their vertical and their overall experience. We average between 15,000 and 18,000 vertical feet per day. Putting in a few days at the local ski area and testing out those new bindings is always recommended.
