Cariboo Cat Skiing was founded by Mount Robson / Tete Jaune local, Terry Cinnamon, who wanted to turn his love of powder skiing into a fulltime winter job. Based in lovely Tete Jaune, just off Hwy 16, our grooming area is located in the historic trailer that used to belong to mountain guiding legend Will Pfisterer. Cariboo Cat Skiing is run by Max Darrah, owner of Rockaboo Mountain Adventures of Jasper. Max is also an ACMG certified mountain guide and has been with Cariboo Cat Skiing for over ten years. At Cariboo Cat Skiing, they strive to provide the best day for our guests filled with great skiing, and lots of laughs. Our guides love working here and many come back year after year. They really are like a big family.

We invite you to discover why so many of our guests come out to ski with us year after year. Cariboo Snowcat Skiing is a powder skiing and snowboarding operation located just west of Jasper, Alberta. We are near the Village of Valemount, British Columbia, in the beautiful snow covered Cariboo Mountains. The Cariboos are worldrenowned for their incredible snow conditions. We typically ski between 10,000 to 15,000 vertical feet every day! Our heated snowcat awaits to take you and your group up into the mountains for some of the finest skiing, snowboarding, and sightseeing anywhere. We can customize the ski day to suit the ability of your group. Anyone from the firsttime powder skier to the most experienced will enjoy Cariboo Snowcats. From the top of the ridge, guests are treated to spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding area. We can often see Mount Robson, the highest peak in the entire Canadian Rocky Mountains! We can accommodate groups of up to 14 people per day.
